Not much to say tonight, it is Sunday and for a large part
of the human race, Sunday is a day of rest. Plus, I just feel lazy and I don’t
really owe anyone a blog, other than myself and my tens of readers.
We are expecting a severe winter storm to come blowing into
the city tonight and tomorrow. It will dump anywhere from 15 to 30 CM of snow,
with high winds and a drastic drop in temperatures. I plan to stay inside and
feel sorry for everyone that has to venture out into the cold.
They have been talking about this storm for the last week on
the weather news, but as far as I know nothing has been done to stop it. I am a
worrier and the last thing that I need is more shit to worry about. Thanks to
those satellites that enable us to know weeks in advance about the shit weather
we will be getting. Sure it is helpful to know in advance what the weather will
be so that we can prepare to battle the elements, but a couple of days are more
than enough time. The city won’t do squat anyways so for me it is just making
sure I have supplies to last out the worst of it.
I have my doubts that it will be as bad as they say, but
time will tell. I plan to crank the heat up and watch one of my comfort movies
that I have on DVD.
